A lovely peaceful piece of nature in the heart of Sheffield, strolling through the well stocked gardens is unbelievable being only 2 miles from the city centre amazing. The squirrels racing up and down add to the charm. Wish if anything I'd been able to see a red tho

The Botanical Gardens are simply beautiful, ideal for a stroll in the warm sunny weather or for a picnic with friends. The gardens are well-kept and predominantly litter-free, suitable for all age groups.

There were a lovely few sunny days in Sheffield so we wondered around the gardens, I'm so glad we did as they are just gorgeous. Beauty everywhere you turn :) Perfect for a spot of lunch, reading or just to relax.

I happened upon these gardens while going for a walk in between hospital appointments at the Royal Hallamshire. I left with a huge smile on my face as the mixture of beautiful gardens, tropical plants in the glass house and secret paths completely absorbed me. I also loved the fossilised tree stump and Pan statue. Well done Sheffield!
