A tranquil place amongst the hustle and bustle of the city centre. A good place to sit and have lunch and kids will love the water jets that shoot up through the footpath

Beautiful to look at however on days that are warmer the seats available become sparse resulting in no where to sit to relax.

Sheffield. A place to relax. My leisurely stroll interrupted by an ironic armada of lefty extremists. The refined air clashing with noise and ruckus caused by a band of thugs hijacking the peace and prosperity that the park holds highly and dearly as one. Utter disgust filled my eyes and ears. Screams and chanting echoed throughout the garden from uneducated... More

one of the must visit while on the move in particular after sunset and the amazing surroundings and the lighting combination are a perfect ending to a hard working day.

Fantastic day out for the whole family, if you're just wanting a quiet day out or somewhere to get the kids imaginations flowing, this is a brilliant experience for them. Kids off all ages can enjoy this attraction, you can take a picnic or use the café or various restaurants around the peace gardens

Transformed a part of central Sheffield and it is beautifully laid out, Well cared for and colourful. My visit was Winter and unfortunately all the water features were sensibly turned off - must revisit. Lovely to see when passing through.

In the middle of Sheffield, this was a lovely place to sit and chill out, very well kept area with the hustle and bustle of city shops nearby, the area is surrounded with all sorts of shops, restaurants, coffee houses and hotels. I also had the pleasure of the Christmas market and all the extras, even though weather was typically... More

The Peace Gardens are a recently redesigned area where a garden or actually a square has stood since the late 1930's. Several were established in the UK at that time in the belief that a time of peace was at hand. Sadly that wasn't the case and this new garden has commemorative areas remembering those giving their lives in war.... More

Visited in January so not the best time of year admittedly, but its nice open space with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around. I would imagine it will be even better when the weather warms up

I've lived in Sheffield for a good 12yrs and the one place where it's nice to just sit and relax for a while is in The Peace Gardens. Well-kept lawns, calming water flowing from the huge urns, have a read, a bite to eat and a drink while you take a step away from the Hustle & Bustle of the... More
