This is a very good climbing wall. There are two walls, the mini works for kids and the main wall. The route setting is excellent, atmosphere always good. It has a small shop and drinks/snacks are available. The toilets are at best poor and the whole place a bit dirty and crowded but that doesn't really detract from its 5*... More

The Mini Works is fab, it is a really great place. It is based at The Climbing Works in a separate building just for children. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a small cafe and seating area with reasonably priced hot and cold drinks as well as snacks. The works can be a bit cold on a... More

Visited the mini climbing works, designed for younger children. The staff talked us through the safety and prices are very reasonable. There are boulders with slides through the middle as well standard walls and overhang section. My 6 year old loved it and it was a welcome change to the play gym. You do need to supervise your child at... More

Went on a sunday with young family. Cost was £15 for membership, £4 for each child and £1 each for shoe rental. Kids are 2, 4 & 6. All had a whale of a time and the easiest walls where mastered by our 2yo. Would highly recommend as a rainy day activity. Only 2 small issues are that car parking... More

Large indoor bouldering/climbing centre for kids & adults. Lots of space. I felt comfortable with letting the kids climb up high as lots of protective soft flooring & space. Some of the climbs have slides to reward kids once at the top. Different levels/abilities. Light refreshments available & at good prices. Great prices to climb. Excellent different kids groups. Friendly... More

I've been climbing there for about a year and the staff and facilities are great. There are grades for all abilities with free group lessons throughout the week for beginners and intermediates. Routes are regularly changed and the place is always clean and tidy.

Took my 5 year old climbing for the first time today and he loved it. The staff made us both feel welcome and explained the rules and regs to us clearly. It's great value for money as once you've paid for the initial induction fee it's only £4 + £1 shoe hire and you can stay as long as you... More

Took my son to level 1 bouldering. The staff put the children in pairs and this was nice as our son had someone to work with. Staff were friendly and efficient , kids had fun whilst learning. Son came out smiling and asking to do another course! Parking very limited so best to visit by bus . Very frequent 75/76... More

Love coming here, there is a great atmosphere and improvements are always being made. Alterations to walls and new routes keep it fresh. Everyone is very friendly and it is reasonably priced.
