Called in to see the Dark and Light exhibition in this lovely building. Such a flexible space for new exhibitions, alongside the Ruskin collection and made in Sheffield collection. Cafe closed currently to be completely refurbished.

Reading other reviewers comments heightened my expectations which was a shame. In the main corridor / passage into the Winter Gardens are three largish rooms each housing a gallery: a Sheffield steel room, an art gallery (which had an exhibition on moods) and a Ruskin...More

With an hour to fill ... the Millennium Gallery fitted the bill perfectly! Love the giant green house and craft stalls! Particularly enjoyed the art gallery with its interactive mood boards and the Ruskin exhibits. Definitely a place to visit again!

We popped in here on spec and were treated to an excellent display of silverware over the past 200years. Clearly labelled. Unfortunately a number of the other display rooms were closed presumably being set up for other exhibitions.

Lovely gallery to visit with plenty to see! Free wifi which is an added bonus and a nice little cafe down below which overlooks Hallam building. Currently a hot spot for lego fans and a walkway from the station. Definitely one to check out!

My three years old granddaughter took me by the hand and took me around all the exhibitions. Papa you have to see this. Every time I come here I need to see this she said. I was most impressed with the metals. The Millennium bowl...More
