The Millennium Gallery in Sheffield is essentially a long corridor (with a few stalls) with small rooms off to the side to exhibit pieces of art and artifacts of local interest. To be perfectly honest most of it was a bit limp. Video (art) installations...More

Lovely use of space to exhibit small displays of art work. There is a lovely shopping area in the space adjoining the smaller separate rooms exhibiting the work. Bought a lovely glass piece for my visit to Sheffield.

It had some great little exhibitions including work by John Ruskin and a stunning collection of metalwork. It's a fantastic space and included a nice gift shop too.

This gallery is right in the heart of Sheffield and easily accessible. It consists of a broad main thoroughfare under clear glass, which makes it very light. Various individual exhibitions are off to one side. The John Ruskin gallery and the one dedicated to Sheffield's...More

This is a collection of small galleries and shops. The Ruskin collection is particularly interesting. The exhibitions often change and usually relates to Sheffield's industrial heritage. Very good Makers shop at Christmas. Nice as it is linked to the Winter Garden next door.

I enjoy going here every so often to see the new exhibits they bring out every so often. I also really like the crystals they have. They also make lovely hot chocolates downstairs, remember buying them on a rainy school trip to the gallaries

It's such a lovely gallery. Well... literally it's not only showing pictures or art works in an artistic way but also providing historical facts and functions, e.g. the steel-made rehabilitative materials. Besides, there are several roopotms for exhibitions with different topics and some lovely souvenirs...More

It was my first visit to Sheffield and this appeared to be premier museum/gallery in the city centre. I was somewhat disappointed therefore to find that the museum itself only has four galleries. Three galleries house permanent collections and the fourth has changing exhibitions. The...More
