Although the bridge was undergoing structural work at the moment, the toll house was open and was very interesting. Ironbridge is lovely with plenty of shops to look in.

We popped to Ironbridge for a couple of hours and the parking was easy, bridge nice to walk over. Ironbridge is lovely, the pork pie shops fab. We loved it on a sunny afternoon.

Good heavens! The new colour has to be seen to be believed. Good taste has been sacrificed on the alter of originality. Pity the poor locals who have to live with it every day.
