Firstly I am shocked at this false allegation, I can assure you we do not discriminate against anybody in fact we go out of our way to accommodate wheelchair users of which we have plenty who come at least once a week as there is nowhere else that facilitates wheelchair access, we have lots of carers that bring people in with special needs as a day out, we cater for groups who meet up to discuss mental health issues, we are dog friendly, we make sure the aisles are wide enough for pushchairs as we have lots of mothers meeting up during the week so how you came to this conclusion I will never know. The tea room is approx 40m2, we have a small corner with leather button bench seats that we reserve for adults only which is approx. 6M2 so a fraction of the size of the tea room. The rest of the tea room is free for all to use. We always welcome as many people as possible, some people prefer to sit away from children, there are LOTS of licenced premises around Telford and Ironbridge that have separate seating for those with children, this is being considerate to others and NOT discrimination. Possibly the main reason you were annoyed is you were asked to stop your child walking on the leather furniture in this area with their shoes on something we don't find acceptable. Please feel free to go to your MP or the press, we have done nothing wrong and will carry on trying our best to please everybody and welcoming as many people as possible.
