We visited in pouring rain, staff really interesting and tour very good. It was very interesting to learn about the old skills which are still used today. Surprised that they made dolls limbs as well.

We went looking for the pipeworks not knowing if the pipes where metal, clay, Plastic when we arrived it didn't look much of interest and we thought the entry charges where over the top and the staff looked bored

Having squeezed down some tiny lanes, driven around the houses and finally arriving we found that the Pipeworks only opened a couple of days in high summer. It would have helped if this was printed in the advertising brochure.

This clay pipe factory was closed down in 1960 and thankfully not demolished It is just how it was left and people will gasp at the state of the working area with little thought to health and safety. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting and...More

On my last visit to Ironbridge this museum was close, but it was well worth a 170 mile each way journey to visit it on a second visit. Helpful guide, only three in the 1500hrs tour, the building is almost as it was left when...More
