What a great museum. Stunning model of the Gorge based on circa 1700. Great cinema show. BUT, it's NOT open on a Monday from October (as are all, bar the Toll house). What's worse, it doubles as the (unavailable) tourist information centre!

This was very interesting to see how much the river Severn floods in 1795 it's the highest recorded up to the top of the Windows. This also houses the tourist information office as well.

Very well displayed with lots of information.a place worth the time to explore.enjoyed our time looking around.they have a great shop to browse through as well.

This is an excellent addition to the tour, even if to see the height the river has risen to over the years. Most impressive.
