Visited today with a friend. Had a guided tour of the east side of the property. The tour was very interesting and I would recommend before you go round the house at your leisure. We both had a lovely jacket potato and cheese in the Mansion tearooms and a cuppa each. Prices very reasonable at £13.50 for our meals and... More

A lot of work going on at the moment new Reception etc. Very large grounds with Deer Park and Woodland walks. The House is spectacular, wonderful furniture and you really need to look up at the ceilings which are beautiful. It was very busy there probably because it was a Saturday. We had lunch there, we just had a sandwich... More

We didn't go round the house, but had a fantastic walk around the Deer Park and estate. The facilities aren't great yet, but the National Trust has started a good deal of work to improve the visitor experience. I was just happy enjoying the wonderful landscape in a vast park. The Café (but this was mid March) was very basic... More

This NT property has 2 mobility scooters for visitors' use and several accessible walks. Avoid the weekends when the park is quite busy. There are 2 accessible toilets and the cafe is also accessible (delicious soup). We've never been in the house as we just love to go around the deer park and the walled garden. Venison for sale here... More

Decided to go here to see the house and to take the dogs for a walk. Lovely walk with good paths and a good amount of parking. Refreshments are on offer but are quite pricey and not the greatest but the main reason I've only given this 3 stars is the price of parking/entrance. If you are a national trust... More

Attingham Park is a deer park around a large mansion, with walled gardens and so forth. It is an excellent place for walks. The children's playground looks fun too

This is our local NT venue. It should be so much better than it actually is. The house tour finds us in dark rooms and an ill informed house guide. I asked her a question about the house clocks and who maintained them. She said that clocks and timekeeping were not important to the Berwicks and the running of the... More

It wasn't an incredibly good day weather wise when we went but Attingham Park but the house has more than enough to keep your mind fresh. The walk around the house is amazing and there were very informative staff on hand if you so wished or, in each room there were cards placed with information on the room you were... More

A gem of a place to visit if you are in the area and have a good few hours to spare. A well laid out National Trust property with extensive grounds, and a Hall that's shows the best in English stately homes. The guides are very knowledgable and show you around the whole property, both upstairs and downstairs and provide... More
