A wonderful spot to stroll around or sit in the sun with a book and enjoy the surroundings. Parking can be a problem but you may be lucky, if not, only a 5 minute walk.

Just a few mins walk away from the centre of Shrewsbury is the quarry park and within it is the single which has the gardens enclosed in it. Plenty of seating available lovely plants foliage and water feature too

Even on cold day nice place to wander down past river severn today sat 27th river was almost bursting and no doubt at some point along way had flooded. The quarry it self is very well kept park added the few miles off riverside views...More

The Let's Rock website says to park at Meole Brace park and ride and that buses will then run to the Quarry.
