I walked alongside the walls after visiting the abbey and on the way to The Quarry. Some interesting features but not a lot to see.

You must try this walk round the old walls and towers it's lovely you pass the Cathedral which is also beautiful

Unlike other towns in the UK that have their town walls intact, Shrewsbury's have been built around. They're also incomplete, but what is there is very good, and enjoyable to see.

You can't get in to this tower but it is the last remaining part of the Shrewsbury walls so it is worth walking down to see it. We left it till late in the day on our way home so we didn't have to climb...More

Interesting in that this is all that is left of the town wall but neither particularly attractive in itself or its setting, still worth a look.
