Lived here for years but only just got round to visiting the castle and museum, interesting only from a local point of view and for those with a interest in military history, lots of steps and a little uneven in places so mind your footing.

The museum is an absolute must for anyone interested in regimental history. Displays show uniforms through the ages & an array of weapons from various wars. Set in the beautiful rooms of Shrewsbury castle, this is a great way to spend an hour or two.

Visited on a wet Grey summers day - interesting building lovely gardens. Very impressed with the whole journey, hidden teddies for young children to find among the displays. All very informative for adults!

Enjoyed visit to castle/museum. Regimental museum was very interesting, castle grounds were lovely and great views from tower. The grounds were free to visit and £4 each to see museum. Would recommend.

The variety of uniforms displayed is amazing, great history timeline of regiment. Lowadmission price. Stairs are a thing to be careful about. some of display descriptions could be larger.

I went in April 18 and it's still £4 for adults. Well worth it.
