Parking is a pain in Bath, so either walk or take public transport. The gallery itself is well done and they have some interesting exhibits, but overall its a small gallery and worthy of a visit. They seemed quite strict on entry near closing time.

The building is really more interesting than the art. It is air conditioned so on a hot day it provides a nice break from the outside. The art is OK.

Two fairly small rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Didn't take long to go around it all. Visited as bought the saver ticket with the Roman Baths, otherwise would have been disappointed to have paid separately just for this.

There is currently an exhibition focused on florals and quilts in the downstairs gallery which was exquisite. You do have to pay to enter this section but it’s not expensive. The upstairs gallery is free to view and features a range of painting across the...More

The permanent collection (upstairs and free) is interesting. Just one large room but they've recently got a slightly atypical Klee and a couple of things from Grayson Perry - and they're not actually out-of-place. The downstairs is the changing paid-for exhibition and the current one...More

I was in Bath recently, and to my delight, came across a Kaffe Fassett Quilt exhibition in the Victoria Art Gallery. It was beautifully curated, with knowledgeable staff, and very reasonably priced. The rest of the art gallery is fascinating and free to enter, with...More

We went here to see Kaffe Fasset tapestries, quilts and ceramic mirrors from a New York artist. Quite inspirational and the blackbird song was a nice relaxing touch. An interesting building too but there's no shortage of these in Bath!

We really enjoyed our visit to this gallery. I found some paintings very beautiful, especially one with people fishing in the night. I loved it.
