Established in 1865, Bath Rugby is one of the oldest and most prestigious rugby clubs in the world. The Recreation Ground, or 'Rec' is one of the most idyllic rugby grounds in the country. It nestles next to the River Avon, under the shadow of both the Bath Abbey and Great Pulteney Street, a Georgian masterpiece.

5 mins walk from the main street, very tight ground so you're right on top of the action. Great city for a break

My first rugby match and it was a great game. Handy for the city centre and drinks were surprisingly cheap. Needs new/more loos though.
