it is a bit of a climb via the steps to get up there, but you get an amazing view over bath once you are up there so definitely worth it.

Alexandra Park is small by Bath standards but it more than makes up for it for its size by the spectacular views. The Park sits atop Bear Flat and provides a panoramic views over Bath - from Prior Park to Solsbury Hill the views are amazing. Walking amongst golden leaves or early in the morning it was special. Worth the... More

While this park is a little way from the usual Bath attractions, it is well worth passing by, moreso if driving, which is how we got up there. We conversed w/ some people who had walked there and they said it was well worth it - me, I'm lazy, plus the parking was free when we visited, so it was... More

It definitely isn't the easiest walk and on a rainy day I imagine it could be very slippery too but trust me, it is worth the effort. The views are just beautiful, it almost looks like a model village. If you can handle the steps, then definitely do it!

Its a must the first place to go to, when you visit Bath. Picture perfect. Seeing all the places you can visit, a birds eye view.

A hidden gem in Bath. Despite the road being uphill and full of parked cars, you receive a brilliant pay off by getting truly fantastic views of Bath. If you like taking pictures, you're love this place. A must see.

This park is a bit out of the main part of Bath, but it is a must if you want to see the spectacular views of Bath, especially as it looks as if the trees and vegetation will eventually grow too tall to be able to see it in the near future.

If the answer to at least one of these is yes then Alexandra Park is the place for you. Another traveler recommended going up at the end of your stay as you are able to reference the places you have... More
