Georgian Architecture at its best
Jul. 2021
Not far from the Royal Crescent stands the Circus. A full circle of Georgian Mansions. Unable to visit one but can walk right around and marvel at the exquisite architecture,. There is a large Oak ? tree in the central island that affords shade should this be needed.

Well worth finding if your in bath. Shame about all the cars around but there is a green in the middle so you can have a picnic

must see
Jul. 2021
We saw this lovely location as part of a walking tour and would recommend it since the walking tours cover all the major attractions which are surprisingly close to each other. This is only round the corner from the Royal Crescent but we would not have found it easily.
The architecture is the main attraction but there is an interesting history to the area too.

View some of Bath's classical terraces
Jul. 2021
Visit the Circus and view a wonderful crescent of beautiful classical terraced houses. The houses have their own grassed area that they can enjoy exclusively. Nearby is a Museum and a public park. Also nearby is the Bath Botanical Gardens. A very pleasant area to walk and explore

Lovely restaurant that needs finding and dining

What a find ! Booked for lunch and spent a good 3.5 hrs with friends eating and drinking our way through the delicious menu . Rosie our waitress was polite knowledgeable and a great asset to the circus , we were waiting for our air b&b and at no time where we pushed out and was able to spend a lovely afternoon enjoying the start of our weekend in bath.

Came here as it kept popping up when were planning our trip.
It’s certainly a must see. It reminded me of the scene in Oliver when he goes to stay with the rich man and gets woken in the morning by the singing sellers. Put a smile on my face.

Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing service and outstanding food. Salad dressing was fantastic (wish we could buy it). Manager and waiting staff superb and we will definitely be back ❤️

Worth a visit - and a walk around the frieze too

We visited here to walk the whole Circus and collect clues for a treasure hunt - great fun and another conic location.

Attractive Georgian buildings
Jun. 2021
Built in that characteristic golden honey coloured local stone these impressive dwellings form a Roman style centrepiece for this part of Bath. Only downside is the amount of traffic, and subsequent fumes , due to the lack of car parking in this old city . Worth a wander around.

Beautiful ring of houses
May 2021 • Couples
Thursday morning 27th May and we were walking from the City to visit the famous Royal Crescent.

Our route took us via The Circus which consists of 30 Grade I listed houses. It is divided into three segments of equal length.with a lawn in the centre with 5 large trees.

Standing on the lawn is the best vantage point for outstanding views of The Circus.

It did conjure up images of the great and the good who lived here, in days gone by and the grand lifestyles they led.

This beautiful Georgian terrace is definitely, another jewel in Bath’s crown.
