Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

Enjoyable twilight package which included excellent food. The experience in the steaming waters of the rooftop pool was memorable. My only complaint was the badly designed front entrance which was totally inadequate for the volume of people, including those, like us, that had pre-booked. However, once inside we were able to relax and enjoy.

For anyone who needs a little bit of a pamper this is definitely the place to go in Bath. For the basic package you can use the steam rooms, with 4 different aromas to choose from (tea tree is my favourite), as well as the indoor pool with lazy river and the outdoor pool that is heated. No better way... More

We booked for arrival at 9am with a treatment ( de stress massage at 11.15) for us all. So glad we booked as got straight in went up to the roof top pool which was lovely and warm and relaxing. As the morning went on though it started to get a lot busier. Our de stress massage was a little... More

Love it but the price is creeping up. The changing rooms are getting worn . The showers were a bit musty. The queues were ridiculous. Not enough woggles/floats or most people chose to use 2 each. Enjoyed my visit but the wow factor is waning.

My boyfriend and I came to visit Bath and this is one of the main things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed it however it was a shame that the saunas were being renovated. It was good that they gave us free return vouchers for this though. Would definitely recommend!

Very atmospheric and busy but not overcrowded spa. Towels, flip-flops, shampoo, etc. are also provided with good quality facilities (hair dryer, showers, changing rooms etc.). A bit pricey but worth the experience and highly recommended!

Up for the weekend for Rugby, spa session and a curry with friends. We noted the queue to get in on our first visit, so we always pre-book a treatment and a session in the baths now. This place is wonderful: the rooftop pool, with steam rising and obscuring the city skyline is fantastic. Take the towel you're given with... More

So I was really looking forward to this spending an some time with friends what better way to spend a Friday? After queuing for 45 minutes to get in I have to say i was bemused to find we had paid £35 each for what is basically 2 swimming pools! Maybe because we didn't pay for additional treatments we didn't... More

Im a bit of a spa junkie and so may have high expectations. Ive visited a couple in Bath and was looking forward to a thermai spa experience. Their marketing is impressive. Firstly the queue to book tickets was over 40 minutes wait. We'd booked ours so went through its efficient security system. First impression ITS HUGE so for me... More

Fantastic facilities, very clean and well maintained. Treatments were expertly done and we felt very well cared for. 2nd floor was closed for refurb and booking in advance is well recommended to avoid extremely long queues at peak times. But other than that, couldn't fault the spa, felt so relaxed and looked after.
