After being mentioned many a time my wife and I finally had the opportunity too have dinner here. Superb bar staff, awfully well priced and very good food indeed. Really must try the Sunday roast next.

My friends and I quite regularly come here for a Sunday roast. The food isn’t fancy but it’s very tasty and well worth the money. The puddings are very delicious and are also reasonably priced - would recommend 👏

Super value Sunday Roast

Bowled over by a medium mixed roast plus a coffee for £6.95. The food was brought out promptly and tasted like a home cooked roast with nice roasted potatoes. (The large roast is £1.00 more)

Great Place for a Lunch with Friends.
Feb. 2017
Went to this location having had it recommended by a bowls mate. It is in a very nice location and easy to find. We met up with our friends and we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the pub. There was a good choice of lunches most of which were home produced. I went for the two faggots with onion gravy, mixed veg which was great. The other three ordered and we were served quite quickly. The food was well presented and was demolished in short measure. All of us very pleased with our choice. The pudding menu was about 10 items long most of them made on site. We were not disappointed or stinted by our selections. We were all very pleased with the food and the service we received. It was well worth the drive to meet friends at the marvellous pub.

Great local

Popped in for a cold cider on a hot day. Lovely surprise and a hidden gem. Fantastic friendly landlord and landlady who do a fantastic Sunday lunch I hear! It's a truly local community gathering place with a great range of ciders, beers and spirits. Great place and home of the famous wagoners motorcycle club.

Do Not Go.

Dirty glasses,. Nice sign at the entrance to the "Beer Garden" about keeping it clean. tables falling apart some on there side piles of rubbish and litter.
Interior is dank and full of people who shout and swear a great deal. This includes the children who are allowed to run riot.
