I don't remember that car park either. I'd allow yourself some time when you don't have to rush it. It's a beautiful place and you can sit at the top (take something to sit on if it's been wet), lean against the Tor and just gaze at the view. While others mess around with selfies and photos, absob the atmosphere. :D
