Interesting, especially if you have chance to talk to one of the volunteers.

This is a work in progress. The history is fascinating - someone needs to write a book about it. Could that be you? Or perhaps you could help with the gardening? Or donate some snowdrops. Or buy the honey. Worth at least a half hour...More

A little haven of tranquility. We were met by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteer who told us the history of the cemetery and showed us the small exhibition. Some lovely wood sculptures are dotted around. A very peaceful way to spend half an hour

The cemetery is a very peaceful place for reflection. The display in the chapel is very interesting as it gives a full history of the hospital and there are resources for people tracing their family tree. The volunteers are always very helpful and chatty.
