Very impressive place to visit. We came on a Sunday and we're told not to take video during the service. Snapped a few photos and enjoyed the ambience. The building and grounds are immaculate. Rivals anything I've seen in Europe though I haven't seen it...More

If your visiting Wells in Somerset the Cathedral is a must place to go see, it's absolutely beautiful inside an out, steeped in history. Disabled access is good, with disabled toilet facilities too.

The cathedral close sits at the top of the market square, through a medieval gateway. Don't miss the walk around the moated Bishop's palace and gardens

Wells Cathedral is well worth a visit, i'm not normally one for churches or the like but Wells is an architectural delight and as a number of unique features you don't see in most UK Cathedrals. Also a pretty good cafe and lovely grounds.
