Very nice little nature reserve with short walks through garden areas, around small lakes and a long the River Trent. A wide variety of birds to see if you take the time to wait in the hide or just sit in the little garden area, saw a nuthatch today. There is also a small shop and cafe and various events... More

We decided to come here to let my daughter have a run round. She absolutely loved the splash bridge!! Still very enjoyable and easy to get round despite the fact it was raining and cold! I was a bit disappointed with the visitors centre. My baby needed feeding so we thought we'd have a nice coffee and sit down as... More

What was a good venue has now decayed with age & neglect, The paths & walk ways that were very good are now swamps at the hint of rain. The elevated walkways are also in a state of decay. A real shame as this was a really good family venue.

A relaxing day out walking around the estate, feeding the birds , looking at ducks in the bird hive. Walking the small stretch of the river Trent or even walking along the cut

My sister and 94 year old mother live not far from here. My mother uses a wheelchair and this is a regular outing for her ( and me when I am visiting). The walkways are ideal for wheelchairs and it's wonderful that Mum can get so close to the river and the pools. There's always something interesting for her to... More

Extremely small reserve, would say it's good to take small children but not Roth the visit if looking to see lots of nature. Plenty of ducks around and some song birds, may have even seen a water rat, but not much else around. Walks don't take anymore than half an hour, although plenty of benches to sit and watch the... As part of a geocaching day we visited Wolseley for the first time and so glad we did, there is something for everyone here. We saw so much for the children to do and see, with wildlife being the main drive. Yet we as 'older' people also enjoyed the beauty of the place. And all done by dedicated volunteers. On... More
