If your interested in pottery and the potteries this is the perfect outing, you can spend a few hours visiting the factory, factory shop, painting pottery yourself or just enjoying the excellent cafe. I thoroughly recommend the factory tour where you can speak to the team that actually make the products, no fake factory workers, this is the real thing.... More

Visited the design studio on Easter Monday and spent an enjoyable and relaxing time making own design pottery. A timed slot was booked in advance but even though a lunch time, the studio was busy but still had a good vibe. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable - the only minor downside is having to wait two weeks for the... More

I took my mom as part of a Emma Bridgewater themed Mother's Day gift (granted we went in April as that's when she could get off work). £30 included a tour, tea for lunch, and decorate your own 1/2 pint mug. Absolutely great value! Loved the tour and seeing all the stages of how the pottery is made - and... More

Visited here in the Easter holidays with my 8 year old daughter. Booked online about 4 weeks in advance which I highly recommend doing as it's very popular and was already nearly fully booked 4 weeks previous. I booked the tour and then booked the decorating studio to follow on after. The tour was good quite fascinating and lasts about... More

The studio was very busy and consequently many of the decorating sponges were being used on other tables. As your ticket is timed you may have to adapt your design, for example all the letter E's were unavailable, also the stars and hearts. Also many of the sponges were unwashed and unsorted which caused delays. The staff were friendly but... More

They offer paint painting for kids (or big kids) which youngsters love. Ample parking and friendly staff make it a great rainy day destination for anyone with kids to keep entertained

My sister booked this tour for me as part of my 50th birthday present. I absolutely loved it- a fab day out. The tour around the factory was really interesting- seeing real people working the numerous and various steps that are needed to create the pottery makes you appreciate why the pieces are on the expensive side. The factory workers... More

A friend of mine was visiting for the first time from Glasgow and I wanted to give her a taste of Stoke on Trent during the few days she was here. As she was down for the weekend, we weren't able to participate on the factory tour as this only runs during the weekdays, nevertheless we still had a fabulous... More
