Rude, unhelpful and ignorant staff at the newly installed ticket barriers who can't be bothered to open them when your tickets, purchased only an hour earlier, don't work...Get your act together Virgin trains as this is a poor customer service experience!

The station itself is very old fashioned. The coffee shop is expensive and dirty and the toilets are smelly. Staff are not approachable. I hate using this station and prefer to use National Express.

There are wonderful signs and symbols in order to understand everything! To get to the route number two, it is necessary to go down in transition or by lift to the transitional bridge. I did not notice right away, where it is located, I went in search of me and immediately went on duty at the station and explained everything!... More

Very easy to find your way around the station. Nice little cafe which offer a wide range of drinks and snacks. Walking distance from the City Centre (Hanley), and a few hundred yards away from Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form and Staffordshire University. Good location.

This station has been refurbished a few years ago and is now much more useable than before. However, its real strength is the fantastic and helpful staff. I have travelled to many stations and experienced some issues, but never found staff so willing to go the extra mile and help you out. As far as the parking is concerned, this... More

Stoke on Trent has a poor image generally, anyone landing at Stoke Station could be forgiven for getting the next train out. It feels scruffy and neglected inside and things don't get much better outside. The car park appears to have roots in a 1950's "bomb site". Investment is seriously required.

We don't use this station often but the new changes are much better I hadn't been for around 6 years. It looks 100% better and the staff were very helpful. It was lovely and clean.

Planned a day trip to Birmingham by train from Stoke station. All car parks were full despite the fact that there is a big old car park at the rear of the station which is closed off for some reason . Absolute joke.

improvements underway, so no cafe on platform when I travelled. Information on tannoys and screens good. Useful ticket collection machines. Look forward to the completion of the improvements
