Such a lovely place, great to get the kids out for free. We often visit there now and take a picnic if the weather is good. Suprising how many people just go for the park and don't take a walk around the lake.

The walk around the lake is quite short and on good paths. We took my mother with her walker. We enjoyed a nice cuppa at the cafe before we moved in. A very pleasant walk.

This is and has been for a while a nice place to visit with the Kids, although it can get very busy at the weekend and in holidays, parking can be an issue at times.

Used to live a stones throw from here, so I loved our visit with the grandson....had a bracing walk round the paths, saw some wonderful sights and had a snack in the pleasant cafe.

Two lakes to walk around, also the canal side. Maps to show you walks. Cafe which is good but needs more sitting inside, also really needs to be more dog friendly. Very busy all year and car park is always full

We regularly come here when we can park. If there is an event or a nice day then parking can be a real problem. Nice flat surface round the lakes to walk or run, great bikes to hire. Sometimes model boats on the small lake....More
