A very good place for a walk around the lake, which is about a mile, and good for feeding the ducks and for fishing. The kids will love it. They have also made some very nice walks around the outer area where there are some interesting birds to see and photograph. The elevated lakeside cafe is good for light refreshments... More

Visited here a few weeks ago and had a really great walk around the lake. There was lots of wildlife and it was nice to see the area was clean and tidy. Would have been good if there were more signage around giving some more information about the nature. Lovely to have a wander around , very flat so accessible... More

Two lakes with an excellent visitors centre and cafe, or an adjacent canal barge serving oatcakes and coffees. My boys brought along their bikes and had a great time pedalling around. Never seen so much bird poo in my life, felt like I was up to my neck in it in places. But I guess it can't be helped. All... More

Lovely place for a leisurely stroll around the lakes or along the canal path, or for joggers and cyclists. Lots of swans to see and a nice little cafe where you can either sit inside or outside on the balcony and watch the world go by. Also has a great park for the kids.
