If you want a delightful walk in an ancient woodland with the chance to see beautiful butterflies, this is the place for you. We saw a white admiral, silver washed fratilleries,a female purple emperor and many more. Truly magic!

This ancient wood is easy to walk around and very beautiful. It is managed in a traditional way, so there are patches of sunlight and dark corners and easy paths.

Bradfield Woods is a very relaxing wood. Steeped in history, the woods are home to so much wildlife. Just sit and listen to the birds and wildlife around you and enjoy the peace. Heaven!

About the same as any other woods it is just a bit closer to home. The path is not always clear but could be the time of year.

No, it's free to park and get in. It's open 24/7, but is run by a charity so I'm sure donations are always welcomed!
