Third visit this month and caught plenty of trout 1x10lb. On my first visit and 2x5lb+. The West stow lake is still looking good with plenty wild life. Glebe has not been stocked... read more

Used to go here a lot years ago . Don't think it is as good now . As another report says glebe not stocked yet . Forgot to mention that to us . Not as well kept as it was . Managed to get one .But hard work . My freind just got rudd

Well run, not over stocked and utterly beautiful. Flies, equipment and advice are available in the hut/shed/lodge. Everyone I've spoken to there has been genuinely pleasant and helpful (I'm a novice).

Larkwood is a well stocked and friendly trout fishery in the village of West Stow, just outside of Bury StEdmunds. If this is your first visit, then chat to Ian the owner and he will be only too pleased to offer any advice on flies to use or where the fish are most active. The fishery is well kept but... More

Been going there on and off for too many years to remember, but the fishing is always good (never catch enough to get bored....) and the guy who runs it is one of the most helpful people I have ever met.
