Our guide Mike took our small party on a fascinating tour of the more unusual highlights of Bury St. Edmunds. An excellent and interesting guide, Mike put a humouress slant on many of the historical features of the town which we would otherwise have missed and the 90minute tour absolutely flew by !

Brilliant tour of Bury St Edmunds - 1.5 hours flew by. Really enjoyed the gentle walk around the Abbey Gardens learning about King Edmund, the Abbey and its power, the connections with the USA. All knowledge given in an interesting format with plenty of information off topic as well in answer to questions. Highly recommend doing this if you live... More

We had a great day out at the Christmas Market in Bury St Edmunds a very well organised event. We also had two very informative guides. A very successful U3A coach trip. Lots of nice feed back from the 49 people who attended this trip.

Mike our guide took my 12 year old daughter and me on a great guided tour of Bury St Edmunds. Interesting, entertaining, interactive. Exactly what we wanted!

Mike, our entertaining tour guide, took us on a fun walk to various spots in Bury St Edmunds to recount ghostly and macabre tales from history. Very enjoyable. The pace of walking and stopping was just right and the unexpected special ending in a place not usually accessible to the public finished off the evening perfectly!

Martyn took us on this tour and was extremely engaging and interesting. We were 13 people across 8 nationalities and 11 of the group were non-native English speakers. Despite this he was able to adapt his humour and kept everyone involved to the point that they were 'leaning in' to avoid missing anything. Thank you to Grace for the easy... More

We were a mixed group of adults who were taken on an information packed tour of Bury. All of us had lived in and around the town for years and were given wonderful stories and information that we never knew, it was an atmospheric visit to spook us all. The 'mad monk' Stephen made sure we could all hear clearly... More

We had a wonderful tour hosted by Stephen. He was very, very informative about the history of Bury St Edmunds and the ghost stories were very atmospheric ending in the graveyard by the Abbey. I would recommend both Stephen and the tour highly.

25 of us split into 2 parties and our guides, Stephen & John, gave us a most interesting & informative tour around the centre of Bury. Its amazing what you don't see when you walk around the Town on your own. Thanks to our guides, we will certainly be looking up on future visits to the Town.

An interesting tour with an experienced guide. The two hours were mostly spent in the Abbey grounds while the rest of the time was taken walking the medieval streets with their Georgian facades. The guide gave a good overview of the history of the town with a variety of anecdotes at various places. In all, it's purpose was to explain... More
