I have visited The Apex twice recently. It’s a very nice venue, easy to get to with plenty of cheap parking nearby. The building is well maintained and clean. On the minus side. The gents toilets (upstairs) could do with being bigger, every time I...More

Such a pity that somewhere that is easy to reach and cheap to park close to is let down by the sound system. We have noticed on our last few visits that the so called backing band has tended to drown out the vocalswhichwas annoying!...More

Saw Eddie Reader last week, brilliant. The acoustics in the Apex are very good. Seating in bar area was full but could take drink into the auditorium. Very nice venue.

Excellent venue. Nice small intimate hall. Excellent sound quality. Good atmosphere. £4.80 a bit steep for a pint and a half of Coca Cola.

We went to see one of those ‘an evening with’ shows. No music just talking. This is a small, intimate and beautifully designed venue which was ideal. Music would work just as well. Either way, if there’s something on you want to see; don’t pass...More

The apex is one of those venues that just delights. Small, but not tiny, so a wonderful place to get up close and personal, but open enough to feel comfortable and airy. A nice bar and coffee shop also. The main car park is cheap...More

The Apex has a wide variety of spaces and entertainment available from intimate Jazz brunches to wilder 60's nights and classical concerts. Always a great venue with a small restaurant area for pre show food and two bars upstairs as well as a cafe/coffee area...More

The seating plan is available when you book your seats on-line. You can still decline tickets if the seats you prefer are not available.
