Easton Farm Park
This is a children's open farm which has been operating for over 30 years - a great place for children to interact with animals.

A day out after lock-down
Nov. 2020
A good day out with our grand-daughter. It was a damp day and there had been rain but most of the paths were not muddy. The animals are well described with interesting info about them. The special half-term activities were a bit poor, but there was no extra charge for them so we would not complain. We eat in the café and found it good value.

Great fun

A really excellent half term trip out with small children, and I felt it was really good value for money. The kids loved the different rides and craft activities that had been put on, there was plenty to keep them entertained. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the COVID safety measures put in to manage visitors were very good indeed.

Who wouldn't love it?!
Aug. 2020 • Family
We visit every year, more than once usually. This year was our first visit to anywhere after lockdown and we felt very happy with the measures that had been taken to be covid secure. My son absolutely loves it here, we normally spend quite a lot of time on the bouncy pillow, but the woodland games and fishing were a massive hit too. Obviously, the animals were a bonus too! Friendly staff, as ever! We'll be back soon!

Booked a site online, phoned to confirm.
Superb customer service
We live in Clacton so only an hour away fir us but oh my!! I could have been anywhere in the country. So peaceful and tranquil.
Ground was a bit hard, take strong pegs.
The toilet/shower facilities were spotless, best I've seen I reckon.
The warden/staff were so friendly too.
Fire pit hire was great too.
Popped round to the childrens farm and used the cafe. Lovely food
Definitely returning.

This place is so awesome! Loads of things to do with the kids. Wasn’t busy and very well socially distanced. Loved the barrel bug ride and petting the animals.

Such a lovely place for young and old.

We are currently staying in Duke cottage at Easton Farm Park. This is a great place for children of all ages and the adults enjoy it too. Very relaxing, friendly, safe place to visit. Lots to see and do. Many different animals to meet. The children love to hug a bunny or guinea pig. You can hold a chick , have a bug train ride and there is a lovely play park with a bouncy pillow. We have had several day trips here in the past and this is the second time we have stayed for the whole week. Staff very friendly and welcoming . The cottages have everything you need and extremely comfortable. So lovely to open the door to find a homemade cake (which tastes amazing) , eggs, milk etc waiting for you , one of many things that make this place special !!! Thoughly enjoying our week. There are are a few different options of accomodation and a big camp site. Duke and Duchess cottages are our favourite and we will be returning next year. Definitely a five star place from our family, can't fault it !!!

Great camping experience
Aug. 2020
I really cannot fault it. The site was very clean and it felt very relaxed. Having the fire pit available was great, although it might be more accurate to call it a bag of logs rather than a wheelbarrow?

We suggested an ice block exchange, although this would be difficult to manage, and maybe a stock of a few camping bits and more basic food stuff? The provision of fridge, freezer and washing machine was a great addition.

We loved the farm and play area and all organised with minimum of fuss, especially when we needed to change the booking.

Hope to see you again, liked the look of the cabins and glamping tent!

Excellent Holiday
Aug. 2020 • Family
Just returned from the most amazing time at Easton Farm Park campsite. The staff are extremely friendly and very attentive. Facilities were clean and in line with Covid 19 precautions. The option to be able to visit the farm (next door) is the icing on the cake, the kids loved it and the play area hosting an air pillow too was just brilliant. I cannot recommend this campsite enough for young families. Absolutely 5* from me and my family

Excellent mini break camping
Aug. 2020 • Family
We just came home from 3 nights camping at Easton farm park. Having had to cancel our summer holiday abroad we booked this break very last minute and I wasn't necessarily looking forward to it! However we were pleasantly surprised!
The organisation is great and you are e-mailed your pitch number prior to visit which is helpful. No waiting around to check in at reception. The campsite is currently operating on half capacity which means we had lots of space. We had to book non-electric as this was all that was available at such late notice. However, the kitchen facilities are excellent with communal fridge, freezer and washing machines all available for use. The washing machine was £2 for a 60 minute cycle. When we used it the floor flooded, help and support was instantlyavailable and the problem was sorted.

Our children absolutely loved the farm, waking each morning and feeding the horses and donkeys through the campsite fence provided us with memories we shall treasure. The sanitisers were always available and the amount of visitors was conducive to social distancing. The play area has been developed so well since we last visited years ago, our boys loved the bouncy pillow and the zip wire in particular. You are able to go in and out of the park all day of camping, up until 5:30pm. You just need to book your entry time for each day and let the reception no if you are heading back to camp/returning. One visit fee for each person provides you with visits for every day of your stay. Due to Covid you just need to book your entry times in advance online. The farm is only 7 minutes by car to Wickham Market which has large Co-Op fish and chip shop, pharmacy, tea room and excellent butchers. We also walked to local pub- The White Horse. It took about 10 mins and we enjoyed a wonderful meal for half price as part of government scheme. Slide in beer garden for children to play on while you wait for food.

Every member of staff was accommodating. The guy who runs the camp shop is so cheerful and happily helped us with a lighter one evening when we were trying to light our fire pit. You can order pizza from the wood fired pizza ovens to be delivered to your tent on a Thursday and Saturday night (£8 ish a pizza) and the camp shop sells cold beers, pimms disposable bbq and s'mores kits.

When we were getting ready to leave we asked in the office if we could feed our surplus bread rolls to the pigs and our boys were so excited to be told that was fine. All staff seemed to have the right measure of being relaxed yet stringent.

The animals all seem to have lovely enclosures and staff seem to really care. We now have 2 little boys asking for pet goats for Christmas!!!

I have never been on a campsite with a bath before, and after muddy days on the farm that bath was much appreciated. Please pass on our thanks to the chap responsible for cleaning, all bathrooms remained clean for our entire visit and this was a great relief during these current times. He was also a really friendly guy!

Overall, an outstanding experience and please do forward on our thanks to all relevant staff. We shall definitely be back and will be recommending to friends.

It is hard to think if items for improvement but with a couple of minor points-

No vegan foods were available for me when we ate at the kiosk, I had to have chips on their own while everyone else had a full meal.

More wasp traps around campsite would be advantageous, my husband and child both got stung and we ended up making our own as the wasps were so persistent! Can't really be helped I guess when surrounded by woodland and animals plus ice creams!
This is a minor point and we remain pleasantly surprised at our wonderful break camping at Easton. Clean, great location and wonderful staff.

Camping and farm visit
Aug. 2020 • Family
We stayed at Easton Farm Park for 4 nights/5 days. When we arrived our pitch was tiny but Cara was super helpful and arranged for us to move pitch; she was great.

Our new pitch was really spacious and gave us plenty of space from the next pitch. Like with any camping in warm weather the wasps are a nuisance so make sure you take your citronella candles and fly reel.

The facilities are great and cleaned regularly. The campsite allows campfires, this has never bothered us in the past however in the evening with a pretty full campsite, the smoke was insane. We didn’t have a fire ourselves but our clothes smelt in the morning, it has really put us off and what has made our rating 4, not 5 stars. The campsite is big enough to be able to have a non campfire area which may be an idea, just keep that in mind if you’re not having your own fire.

The campsite offer pizza nights where you can pre-order pizza; get in early in the timeframe as we unfortunately went towards the end of the timeframe and they’d ran out; clearly a positive with how many are ordering :)

Just one to remember when booking here, you’re on A FARM so expect sheep and donkey noises throughout the night. Our kids loved it but it’s not going to be a truly silent night!

We visited the farm and park twice, it’s a great visit, loads for the kids to do and lots of interactive activities. Our kids are 4 and 8 and both loved it. The play park closes with the farm so if you’re camping there you can only access the park during their opening hours (until 5.30pm ish)

There is so much to do all within a 30 minute drive, Southwold beach, Walberswick Beach, Thorpeness Boating Lake and the Owl Sanctuary.
