Visit and be amazed. I moved to Surrey some five years ago and visit on a regular basis. It is both a place you can find peace and quiet to pray, and another to marvel at the architecture.

Beautiful interior to a deceiving exterior design. Lovely gift shop and small cafe are also on site. Staff are also welcoming. Peaceful and calm building.

One can pray and find peace inside this building, despite its off putting exterior. The interior is a delight, so well organised as only the CofE knows how.

Perhaps the most unattractive example of sacred architecture that sits on the chalk like a squat lump. No reference to soaring spires towards the heavens, if only they had used concrete we might have had Brutalist Architecture. Inside it is typical but who can get...More

The Cathedral sits on top of the hill, for all to see and admire. It has many venues continually , week after week. Well worth a visit

On the outside, you'd think you've rocked up to Battersea Power Station, just without the iconic white smokestack towers. It seems like a very austere, modern, similar architecture. Yet, once inside, it's also modern, yet retains it's character as a solemn, quiet space. In true...More

All modern outside but a beautiful building inside. In one of the side alcoves there were some sad cards and messages to departed friends and relatives. The friendly staff and atmosphere of the cathedral makes it a worthwhile visit.

Having driven past for years , I went to a service there a short while ago , quite amazing for a modern building , built between 1936 and 1961 designed by Edward Maufe .

We visited because the church was featured in the movie 'The Omen' I wasn't expecting it to be so bright, colourful and cheerful. It really is a stunning Cathedral worth visiting if passing through the area.

It was still and tranquil when we visited but probably is best enjoyed during a sung mass or ceremony. It is a relatively recent structure without decorative stain glass in the windows.
