Really nice museum, we learnt a lot of things about newcastle! Also have different areas for exhibitions (history of newcastle, british army, something with engines)

Went here during a day out in Newcastle. Great museum with loads to see and do including an area for hands-on science. There is also an area recounting the history of the Newcastle docks. Overall a great museum for people who enjoy ships and science

We popped into the Discovery Museum as it opened at 11am on Sunday expecting to spend perhaps an hour looking around - next thing we knew it was 3.30 pm! So much to see including the world famous Turbinia - plus some great hands-on areas...More

Wow this place is so amazing and I'll take my husband with me next time..and I've never been to this place before as I'm not from Newcastle and I've only visited it once before..

This is a venue that every young person should visit, free entry and very educational. My grandchildren love it.

A must for visitors to Newcastle. We visited this museum yesterday and had a lovely time friendly staff lovely lunch in the cafe. It was great value it was free you just put in a donation which we did. You could spend all day here.
