With a range of hotels and bars it is a fantastic part of Newcastle to stay or eat in. Great for walks and is stunning at night with the bridges, lights ect.

When I lived in the North East the Quayside was a run down area but had a fun, cheap market on Sunday mornings, Now it has been restored I believe the markets are no more but the Quayside has residences, great pubs, cafes and restaurants....More

Hi Kim ! The Royal Quays Marina where the cruise ships dock is about 10 miles from the Quayside ! So walking is not an option . Google the site ''whatsinport '' and you will get the info. about how to get downtown... More
