Cracking pint, well served. Not the cheapest but worth it when it's right. Always walked past but decided to have a look and not disappointed. Will be back.

Nice pub in central Newcastle met up with friends before the match with big screen TV showing football and other sports, good selection of traditional Ales and good choice of spirits . No food available just beer 10mins walk from St James's park.

This is an excellent place to go to with large groups of people (and as a couple). The football was on and we stayed for the boxing. Cheap enough round and good range

Called in for a drink before our convert at the Tyne Theatre, staff were friendly, service was good, great selection of draught ales & cider, better prices than in town, one of a dying breed of traditional pubs, really busy, clearly popular with a lot...More

I've visited the Bodega a few times over the last few months but only discovered it recently due to a friends recommendation. Very traditional and a good selection of well kept real ales, I really like it. Also offers a big screen for any sport...More

Been coming here on and off for over 10 years, the choice and standard of beer is and has always been excellent. Service can be distant but usually prompt. However it’s now starting to look more than a little warn around the edges which is...More

This is a real hidden gem with a surprising interior. A good place for a chat over a great pint, no noisy music but still a nice atmosphere. A great range of ales at competitive prices. Very convenient for a pre or post theatre drink...More
