Been here a couple times when we visit Newcastle and still as good. Really friendly barman, good selection of beers, vinyl always being played on old player, but mostly love the interior. Doesn't look like much on the outside but looks can be deceiving!

I really enjoyed this bar last weekend. Real good atmosphere with lots of tasty ales. Its a really long strip of a bar so can get quite crowded, but not an issue. Would definitely go back.

Lovely old style pub with a great selection of ales and a good atmosphere. Apparently it's the second oldest in Newcastle and it feels like it's got a good heritage, love the stained glass and we sat in a little booth.

Love this place. What character it has. Bar staff really friendly and music is tasteful to listen to. I would certainly recommend this place as a hot spot.
