Not our first visit but it never disappoints. Friendly staff and decent prices with the quaint decor - what more can you ask for? Well recommended.

Recommended by a friend. Although narrow and somewhat cramped, this pub really has atmosphere. Loved the old gramaphone and naval caps. Drinks reasonably priced. Well worth a visit!

Well worth a visit, a little piece of Newcastle history. Quirky, narrow pub with friendly staff and locals. No gimmicks just a good old fashioned pub. It was really, really busy the night we were in so be prepared to stand and enjoy the banter!...More

We really wanted to go here as everyone raves about this place and it is a quirky, old fashioned pub with lots of character and a good selection of beers. A must visit.
