This is a great little bar up the stairs off the street. Good selection of beers - cask & keg. And to my joy a couple of delicious proper real ciders. A must visit when in Newcastle.

Great selection of drinks, canny staff, only a small amount of hipsters, and it looks wicked. Can’t really complain about anything in here.

Nice place for drinks and food. All reasonably priced and a good restaurant sitting area away from the bar if preferred. Service was good.

I visited this beer pub in an odd time in the middle of the day, because I was on a (mostly beer-drinking!) holiday to Newcastle, so it had more of an old man drinking atmosphere. But it had a great selection of beers on, and...More
