We went in a group for the pop up Dutch Cafe. There were a few Dutch beers (but no Belgian ones which are so popular in Holland) Few fried snacks outside and a few plastic tulips in jars on the table. If someone had done...More

We had a pleasant afternoon here watching folk bands and clog dancing. Quite a surprise to me. The place is kind of tucked away near to Byker Bank. A great selection of beers and super friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

An exceptional range of local beers, some, distractingly priced in 2/3 pint measures, which were well kept. Renowned for local live music acts too.

Great pub, its a fantastic place if you like a real ale. I've stayed here twice now and the rooms are great too - a lot of character and a good size. The full cooked breakfast delivered straight to your room is excellent.

We have been here for 2 days coming from Wales for a short holiday. The place is peaceful, incredibly clean, breakfast is gorgeous, local musicians in the pub downstairs excellent. Warmly recommended.
