I walked through here today during a self guided tour of the city. It didn’t really do much for me. Functional yes, but not steeped with any great architectural wonders. Lime street in Liverpool, which I was a couple of days ago, knocks spots off...More

As train stations go this one is pretty much the same as every other station I've been at. A cold wind blew through it today while I waited for my train. The toilets on platform 12 are small and not very modern but were being...More

What a cold, cold station with not a lot to do later in the evening (6pm) if your train delayed unless you wish to go back out into town centre and hear the taxi horns peeping in frustration right at front door. Bus stations are...More

Located in the city centre. The station has been modernised BUT the parking and the roads around the station are ridiculously congested

Central Station handy for pubs, restaurants, shops and business in Newcastle. Very clean and pleasant. Adequate places to grab food and drink. Clean toilets at no cost.

I love Central station. Its a beautiful example of 19th century and 21st century architecture. The staff are all very helpful, and the variety of shops and cafes available is excellent. Unlike many other stations in the UK such as Doncaster or York, it is...More

Passing through, the station was clean, with a choice of stops for food etc. The staff were helpful. The trouble is this must be the coldest Railway station in the world. There were shelters which could be a little bigger

This is one of the biggest and most impressive railway stations you are likely to see. Standing on the edge of Graingertown and exhibiting the same dramatic architectural style the facade, with its huge porticoed main entrance, is stunning.

The car park is small. You get 20 mins free parking if you press the green button on the ticket machine. If you are dropping off there is a small drop off only spot outside the Marks and Spencer area. You should be OK that... More
