Booked this offer through Groupon and upon arrival the sights were beautiful. The female receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Great place for a little souvenir. The postcode given wasn't for the site and took you 7 minutes away had to call and get the street name??? The signage to the tea rooms was poorly marked and was left wondering... More

Well worth a visit a lovely place, the Abbey is very nice and the tour guide was helpful with any queries or questions regarding the history of the building and the family. The grounds are quite extensive with plenty of walks and things to see and after all that a refreshing drink in the tea room completes the tour.

We had a lovely, relaxing afternoon, had a cup of tea in the cafe first with a couple of fresh cakes, then then the Jane Austen tour. The tour guide was great, he used audience participation, was very knowledgeable, it was light-hearted and fun. Well worth the £5 charge on top of the £5 to go into the place, Afterwards... More

came here on today(Sunday), welcomed at reception by a lovely lady and joined the 11:30 general tour, the tour guide Paul was the highlight of the day as very knowledge about the building and surroundings and made it quite light hearted. Quite a pleasure to listen to him, even my 13 year old daughter enjoyed the experience. Beautiful house and... More

We have just returned from a few lovely hours spent at stoneleigh abbey. Beautiful grounds to walk around, cricket being played on the cricket pitch, super afternoon tea in the orangey and topped off by a very informative and entertaining guided tour of the house led by the brilliant tour guide Paul. He brought the story of the Leigh family... More

Wow! We bought a Group on deal for Sparkling afternoon tea for 2. We booked in for 1pm, arrived early so we could book in on the history tour of the House, which starts at 11.30. This was £5 each, our tour guide Paul was excellent, very knowledgeable and very entertaining. The tour was fascinating, the building is amazing and... More

A gem of a place to visit. Fascinating history and stunning interiors make this largely undiscovered house a must for any visitor to the Stratford area of the country.

My daughter and I visited here last week for a long awaited cream tea. We chose this venue because of the beautiful surroundings. We then decided to maximise the benefits of our time by joining the official tour of the building. If you are interested in history (or even if you're not!) this tour was great. The guide made things... More

As we had never visited this local stately home, off we went We were not disappointed, Paul the house guide commentary about the house history was Brilliant , made the history come alive. Thanks Paul. It appears to be a forgotten place to visit so have a day out and visit you won't be disappointed.
