Went here after the recreation park had a lovely walk round fed the ducks and took photos of the girls with Shakespeare's statue and looked at the statues from Shakespeare's plays

Really nice space to just let you relax and enjoy being in a very special town. We got a boat trip from here which was very enjoyable too.

We sat in the gardens twice in the two days we visited and listened to licensed, quality live musicians on both days. With the canal boats in the immediate area selling baguettes, coffee and ice cream and with the weather on our side, this was a great opportunity to sit and take it all in, watching the world go by.

Situated as it is by the theatres, River Avon and Bancroft Canal Basin this is one of the most visited places in Stratford. The grass is well maintained and there are plenty of seats around for one to sit and people watch. If you sit there long enough you'll see someone from about every country in the world go by... A lovely place to walk and sit with great views of the theatre. Often markets in this area too and plenty of places for food and drink near by too.

These gardens and open space tend to be well used by most visitors to Stratford, from people walking around the canal basin, going to the RSC Theatre, or just local boys skateboarding this area is well maintained and well used.

Been here many times when visiting Stratford, and there are lots of different things happening here, all the time. This weekend was the celebration of Shakespeare's birthday, so there has been a full agenda of things happening in the gardens and the rest of the town. Short performances, forget me not flowers mimicking the poppies at their Tower of London,... More

It's OK, best part for me is the canal basin. Variable quality of buskers but little else to catch the attention. It does make a nice setting for the RSC theatre

A very busy but pleasant park area. From here you can get river boat rides or hire your own rowing boats. you can take a stroll along the riverside. All in all a nice open space in the city.

A well used park with lots of space for people to relax. Some street artists were around and a Sunday market.
