This building is no longer open for touring but it is still of historic significance and is a lovely building. I think they are working on the interior from what I could gather.

Lovely historic house but in need of significant repair and preservation. Where is the USA and the funding that could preserve this closely associated house ?

Splendid timber wood construction that was situated just opposite the Guild Chapel. The hose belonged to John Harvard of Harvard University fame. Pause at least for a picture.

A beautiful 16th century timber wood house which lies just opposite of the "New House" of Shakespeare and the Guild Chapel. It has an interesting connection to Harvard University in the USA.

We visited here as part of our attraction ticket. It's very small and doesn't take long to look around but we liked it and the architecture is very interesting.

If it were not owned by the influential Harvard University, perhaps this house would have been demolished long ago. It was the house where one of the early benefactors of Harvard University lived. Small and cramped, it gives a wonderful insight into living conditions of...More
