Visited here recently as it was one of the only places open during the snow. So interesting and was well worth braving the snow. Beautiful church inside and out. £3 to go further into the church to see Shakespeare’s grave.

Wandered in here with absolutely no knowledge of the history so was fascinated to hear about this really interesting church and its relationship to the Shakespeare family. You have to pay a donation to go up the nave and to the altar where the great...More

I will openly admit that I'm not really a fan of William Shakespeare but I can honestly say that this place is well worth a visit. The church is beautiful inside and regardless of what you think about Shakespeare, seeing his burial place alongside his...More

We were greeted by a lovely lady who pointed out all the historic facts and sights that we would have surely missed. The art work and craftmanship of the building is like nothing i have ever seen and the wooden carvings were quite weird to...More

Bought tickets to see the Stratford-upon-avon choral society perform Gloria and the Magnificat... er ... because I hadn't done anything like that before! What a brilliant setting for this though, the acoustics were great. The church its self is very nice but not too big....More

Walked up to the church on a Sunday. Do check on times it's opened for viewing as a working church holding services. Nice church and amazing stained glass windows. Paid to see Shakespeare's resting place and to read about his life. Well worth a visit.
