Well worth a stroll along the beautiful waterway that takes you through and away from the busy town. A range of natural and man-made structures can be experienced along the walk.

We have taken various walks along different parts of this canal in different seasons. The countryside around is lovely at any time of year and it is very quiet apart from the odd train in parts.

A decent place to come even when it's pouring with rain. Nice and quiet, swans swimming around, and only a few yards from the town centre. What's not to like about that?

Simply gorgeous! Even at this time of year (winter) the canal is peaceful and serene, a perfect place for a short (or long) stroll. Lots of birds and even a rabbit was sighted!

Very good for walks providing not raining too heavily. Pleasant scenery including a little boat which crosses the river in high season. Nice even on a cool day.

A stay in a cottage alongside Stratford on Avon Canal. We stayed in the village of Lowsenford near Henley on Arden. As we were quite literally no more than ten feet away from the canal, as we stepped out of the cottage door, it gave...More
