Saw Twelfth Night matinee. Production was faultless. However the seating (upper circle) was so uncomfortable it detracted from enjoyment of the performance. My ticket came with a restricted view warning and it wasn't wrong - pillar slap bang in front of my face so I...More

Had a brief visit here after a trip to Stratford this week. Venue is very nice and you can walk around on your own as we thought the prices for a tour were quite steep. However, it’s nice to be able to walk round on...More

Excellent production. All cast members were equally strong. The special effects were wonderful. Love the RSC but why do you charge so much for programs. More people would purchase if they were cheaper.

What a fabulous performance from an outstanding cast - including Adrian Edmondson, Michael Cochrane, Vivien Parry, Kara Tointon, John Hodgkinson to name a few. In such a fabulous theatre with it's own unique character. An experience suitable for both children and adults. The theatre in...More

A good experience from booking tickets, to seeing the performance, accessible. Grandaughter and I sat in upper circle (A39 & 40) from which we had a good view of the stage. Heard everything. Seating was fine and no different to some of the older theatres...More

The acting can be superb - though you can't always hear what they say if you're seated near the back - nowadays they're not trained to carry their voices so much, being trained more for tv. The staff are always utterly charming, helpful and efficient....More

Saw twelfth night, reasonably good (viola great) but we all (6 in our party, aged 23-55) independently found upper circle seats crippling. I am under 5 foot 4, and even I suffered from the lack of leg room.

The stalls had plenty of leg room for us and I'm pretty tall.... Think we were in about 4 rows from the front...

There is also a car park by the side of the Premier Inn Waterways by the side of the canal. As long as children supervised you can walk along tow path to RSC, about 15 mins walk.
