We enjoyed the Thursday night performance of Sweeney Todd at the Attic Theatre. It was an enjoyable production of a classic story that is just right to get you in the mood for Halloween. The play had a good balance of drama, fright, theatrics and audience surprise....More

Brilliant night! Thank you ‘Tread the Boards’ for this really great production. I was captivated the whole way through, really great actors (especially Edith and Sweeney) had me nervously laughing one minute and ‘deadly’ serious the next. The intimacy of this theatre was just right...More

Fantastic production, the tension and the hellish atmosphere created by The Demon Barber and Mrs Lovett, his horribly-delicious-tasting-pie making partner in crime, ramps up steadily over the course of the play. The cast were great and my wife and I loved every minute of it....More

This is the first production that I felt I was inside the action. Superb leads all round and Mr T with his devilish eyes, and fine acting is a genuinely scary performance!!! Would definitely recommend watching and I will be returning to The Attic soon!!

We watched a delightful performance of Jane Eyre in the Attic as part of a spontaneous day trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. I have never felt so included and so inspired and alive during a performance. A real gem of company and intimate space.
