Visited Compton Verney today with a group for lectures and tour of the exhibition - an excellent day. A talk by the curator of the 'Seurat to Riley' exhibition and an excellent guided tour with time to then browse at leisure meant that my understanding...More

Recently visited this art gallery which I absolutely adored. Then we stumbled across Compton Kitchen where I was served by a delightful young lady (Fliss) who made me an excellent cappuccino and my slice of carrot cake was delicious too! Would recommend this place 100%....More

We enjoyed our trip to Compton Verney - taking an annual membership was a much more cost effective option - the single visit price is quite expensive. The galleries are well set out and the present exhibition was interesting and well curated. The grounds are...More

We visited Compton Verney Kitchen a few days after the new version opened. Loved the crockery, ambience and although staff were struggling they did explain that it was all new. Nice lunch but struggled to find gluten free and dairy free options for deserts. Following...More

Compton Verney used to have a pleasant full service restaurant serving simple but good lunches, which made our frequent trips to the gallery and grounds a real pleasure. We visited shortly after the restaurant changed to a self serve cafe, and put our very poor...More

First time here- will return. Stunning setting with great exhibition area. Seurat to Riley exhibition very good indeed. Friendly and helpful staff and pleasant, if pricy, cafe. Parkland to walk around or a shuttle bus if you want to go straight to house.
