We recently stayed at The Dun Cow for 1 night. Room which was pleasant was at the rear and away from the road. Breakfast was very good. Bar was packed during the evening which says a lot for the place.
Im not one to leave a poor review because everyone has an off day,and in running a pub/bar/restaurant,you are going to get days or times when thinks just dont work out.

Normally in the past the staff have been great. The food today was poor dry . They forgotten to bring our drinks to us. New staff. We were not the only ones that didn't eat our food A table of eight left early as well.
The staff, service,food and atmosphere all first class.
We was all boring and had the same rib eye steak with peppercorn & Diane sauce. Cooked to perfection.
The staff are very attentive and welcoming.
