I work in this area and there's a lot of potentially here. Digbeth as a whole is not a nice area and this let's the custard factory down somewhat. The Custard factory itself is seen as a trendy area filled with creative businesses, from media to handmade goods. There's several shops from a graffiti store, an independent apple store, a... More

Sadly came here expecting a fun full day for all the kids with plenty of street entertainment for the children. Juggling acts, magic performances. Easter bunnies walking around etc. But sadly missing. The street food as advertised was hard to find a lack of signage and the position to the rear of a ugly parking spot was hardly a place... More

We saw a sign for the factory so decided to take a look, at first you think is a run down shell but No its very interesting. Shops cafes even a cinema, inside some very interesting art work, even the outside chimney has been decorated, well worth a visit.

Interesting street! Quite small , we stayed there half an hour. A lot of art pieces to see in the street, on the wall, in the cafés. Many cafés to spend a chilled Time there.

went for a day whilst visiting birmingham, and was a lovely small market with a few shops and lovely street food and music, nice atmosphere but some of it was a bit expensive

We visited the Custard Factory to attend a sample sale but did look around after we had purchased ( Not a lot in this case - too expensive) the shops looked interesting and the prices were reasonable for items "not on the high street" and the bars were good. Getting there was interesting,..We parked in Selfridge's car park and walked,... More

Fabulous beef burgers, lots of atmosphere, not many seats so hard to sit down and enjoy, bar is great with good music. Needs more seating.

I love to see old factories used for other purposes rather than left derelict or pulled down. Love the custard that used to be made here too so it was fun to visit and reminisce about childhood puddings! Not too many shops open but there was a Vintage by Kilo sale so was busy. We enjoyed looking at the graffiti... More

Worth a look if you're exploring the city... it's a hidden gem of strange shops and art exhibitions which was really fun to look at. There also a weird sweet shop that sells all kinds of odd sweets like iron bru fudge which is really cool. Not big enough to spend the whole day but certainly and hour or two!
