An unusual square a bit of green amid busy roads and a rather nice statue of Tony Hancock. I think I read that this square was quite an upmarket place to live with some nice housing around the square so I'm going to do do a bit of research on this square in Victorian/Edwardian times

It felt like a small sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of town with Tony Hancock for company. Nice enough to chill with your lunch.

Not much can be said really, Old Square is a place to chill out if you do not mind being close to the busy roads round it, that said its a little bit of green in the city which is easily accessible to cafe's for snacks etc. The focal point is the Tony Hancock statue, assuming you like him or... More
